PVIP Malaysia is a long-term residency visa that allows foreign investors, entrepreneurs, and talents to live, work, and study in Malaysia for up to 20 years.
What are the advantages of PVIP?
i. There are no age restrictions;
ii. In the form of multiple entry visa (MEV) permission for up to 20 years;
iii. Waiver of the minimum stay requirement;
iv. Participants are also permitted to work and engage in lawful commercial operations in compliance with local legislation.
v. Study permission;
vi. Permission to acquire residential, commercial, or industrial real estate;
vii. Make active investments in permissible sectors; and
Participants are permitted to be accompanied by spouses, children, parents, and foreign domestic servants.
What are the application requirements?
i. Earn a monthly income of RM40,000.00 or an annual income of RM480,000;
ii. Open a RM1,000,000 fixed deposit account with a Malaysian licenced bank;
iii. Payment of Participation Fees (RM200,000 for Principal and RM100,000 for Dependents); and
iv. All applications must be submitted through an approved agency designated by Malaysia’s Immigration Department.

1) What is the minimum age to apply for this position?
All participants of all ages are welcome.
2) Documents Required
I) Passport photocopy (biodata page and current pass, including cover);
ii) A translated copy of the marriage certificate (for the legal spouse).

iii) A copy of the child’s birth certificate (biological, stepchild, or lawfully adopted).

3) Before visiting Malaysia, dependents (parents/children under the age of 21) must enroll in the PVIP programme.
Yes, such an application is permitted, however the petitioner must secure the
endorsement within 6 months of receiving conditional approval.
